Making electronic gadgets means to manufacture simple electric-driven devices. The devices vary in complexity, from simple to quite complex.
Some of the popular gadgets assembled by beginners include:
- Radios (crystal radios, transistor radios, radios using integrated circuits)
- Amplifiers (using integrated circuits or transistors; Tube amp kits are available)
- Water-level alarms (used for bathtubs), Rainfall alarms, etc.
- Indicator lights (Light Emitting Diode, etc.)
- Electronic roulettes, Fortune-teller machines
- Electronic musical instruments, Electronic music box
- Robots, Model cars (Some of them have built-in sensors.)
- Wireless microphones
- Watches, Timers
- Lie detectors
- Clocks, wave clocks
- Various power supplies
- Intercoms
The physics club provides students with opportunities to try making these items.
